A little help
from many.
01 / OUR STORY
HYF supports charitable projects benefiting Hispanic youth. Our approach is simple: bring people together, put our talents to work, and build something that matters.
Founded in 2003 by a group of Dallas Hispanic businesspeople, the Hispanic Youth Foundation grew from a shared desire to give back. Fundraising, construction and mentoring became ways to turn that desire into action.
Our strength is the people behind the work: friends, families, builders, mentors and supporters who contribute what they can. A little help from many can accomplish great things.
02 / OUR WORK
We bring practical help to projects that create opportunity. These are the ideas at the heart of HYF’s work.

SPORTS & BELONGINGLearning, mentoring and creative expression open new possibilities. Our project history spans education, music and youth development.
LEARNING & EXPRESSIONConstruction skills, materials, time and generosity can turn a good idea into a lasting community resource.
SERVICE & SWEAT EQUITYWHERE IT BEGAN
HYF’s beginnings are rooted in the gymnasium project at Saint Mary of Carmel—a shared effort to create more opportunity for young people.
Over the years, people connected with HYF have supported youth soccer, recreational spaces and educational facilities, including work connected with Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Cristo Rey schools.
These efforts took place through different businesses, organizations and project entities. They reflect a continuing commitment among the people involved; they are not all projects owned or operated by HYF.
We remain grateful to the founding board, volunteers and friends who helped begin this work.

THE NEXT CHAPTER · IN DEVELOPMENT
We’re bringing friends and supporters together around two new ways to help young people and families.
We’re planning an annual outdoor fundraising dinner at Common Ground Soccer Plaza, bringing a community together around youth opportunity, mental health and education.
The event name, date and participation details will be announced as plans take shape.
Email your dinner interest ↗We’re exploring a volunteer fundraising team that could support HYF through concession and event-service opportunities.
Our first step is gathering interested volunteers and learning the requirements of participating venues.
Express interest ↗Help shape the dinner by joining the planning effort, bringing together a table of friends, or starting a sponsorship conversation.
We welcome people who want to contribute their time, relationships and practical experience.
